It has been existing in families since, but thanks to the increase in education and democratizing the ease of expressing your opinions online, the number of domestic violence has slowly started decreasing. But as unfortunate as it is, many people still feel like domestic violence is normal and something you are supposed to bear with till the end of time. This is absolutely not the case and people must be made aware of the importance of having your strong opinions and be aware of the fact that domestic abuse is a violation of human rights.
