Introduction
Domestic violence is a dangerous aspect of modern families. It has been existing in families since, but thanks to the increase in education and democratizing the ease of expressing your opinions online, the number of domestic violence has slowly started decreasing. But as unfortunate as it is, many people still feel like domestic violence is normal and something you are supposed to bear with till the end of time. This is absolutely not the case and people must be made aware of the importance of having your strong opinions and be aware of the fact that domestic abuse is a violation of human rights.
Objective
To create a poster that encourages people to be more aware of domestic abuse, and post it online in a blog post. It should also encourage people to report cases of domestic abuse within their home and in the houses of a relative or a friend.
Significance
The topic of domestic abuse is barely talked about in households, it is almost considered taboo. The significance of this project is to bring about a change in people's mindset towards this topic.
theoretical framework
Sharing posters online allows people to see them in private and gives them an opportunity to contemplate. It also encourages them to share it to people they might know who are facing similar troubles. Since this poster would be shared discreetly, problems faced by spiral of silence can be avoided. Where people who believe that domestic abuse isn't real would not isolate and disregard the others.
Target audience
People who are suffering from Domestic abuse or people who know someone who is suffering from Domestic abuse.
communication message
Domestic abuse must not be encouraged and if it has been noticed, the victim should come forward and seek help, or a friend who knows a victim must offer their help.

ReplyDeleteIt has been seen that even though people know domestic violence is an offensive crime , they don't step back from committing it, i m glad that the new generation is picking up these sensative topics and are trying to help society from getting rid of these sins .
